| Introduction | So who am I and why am I hosting this blog? Well, I moved here in 2001 to attend FSU and couldn't wait to get out. I was told by professors and friends that Tallahassee had nothing for me personally or professionally. Interestingly enough, I met the man I would eventually marry and he wanted to stay here. So we did. We bought a house and began careers. He is a teacher at an elementary school, and after nearly seven years of working for two local public relations firms, I now serve as vice president of external relations for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Big Bend. Since graduating college, Tallahassee has grown on me, and I've found plenty of great reasons to live here. But I'm still not completely satisfied. So that's why I'm working toward improvement. And I can't do it on my own, so I'm asking you for help. |
