About Me

I am a writer, recipe developer and all-around culinary enthusiast. My parents were talented cooks, and one of my very first jobs was working in a gourmet shop so I've always been exposed to great food. One of my recipes was even featured on a TV show when I was just a kid, Apple Split anyone? Mostly I am self-taught, though I studied cooking when I lived in Italy and have taken cooking classes in Asia, I am by no means a professional chef. Today I write about food and wine, review restaurants and develop recipes for corporate clients. Outside the kitchen I also work as a marketing/branding consultant, namer and copywriter. You've been invited to a fancy ball but the only thing you have to wear is an orange wooly jumper. What shoes do you wear?

I guess I'd borrow Mario Batali's orange clogs.
