Harper Jean Tobin

About Me

Ms. Tobin works for the Federal Rights Project of the National Senior Citizens Law Center, where she is responsible for many legal and policy matters including the Federal Rights listserv. The views of NSCLC are not expressed here. She received her degrees in law and social work from Case Western Reserve University in May 2007. During law school she worked as an intern at two national LGBT civil rights organizations. She makes no pretense of being an expert in any area of law (yet), but that doesn't stop her running her mouth. Her publications include: Against the Surgical Requirement for Change of Legal Sex, 38 CASE W. RES. J. INT’L L. 343 (2007); Confronting Misinformation on Abortion: Informed Consent, Deference, and Fetal Pain, 17 COLUM. J. GENDER & L. 111 (2008)
