I'm an Indiana native who's lived in Los Angeles (defined by me as the swath of land between Santa Barbara and the Mexican border) for the last fifteen and a half years. When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?
I don't open my eyes underwater. I also plug my nose. And also, I always worry that I'll drown (even when I'm not in a body of water) because I'm a terrible swimmer.
