Introduction	I am a long-time journalist and currently a freelance writer who likes to keep my chops in gear by blogging. Meanwhile, I am still working hard to get my official curmudgeon certification; no small task since there is so much competition.
Interests	No drugs, rock-and-roll died in the mid-1980s -- but there's always sex -- they tell me, also reading, writing, traveling especially to Kauai and Europe, enjoying life in all its dimensions
Favorite Movies	The Caine Mutiny, Chinatown, the Treasure of the Sierra Madre, the Seven Year Itch, Born Yesterday, Truly, Madly, Deeply and too many others to list.
Favorite Music	Just give me that old time rock and roll, the kind that moves my soul, also jazz, blues, soul and classical, with the odd madrigal thrown in, and the Elgar cello suite by the tragic Jacqueline duPre
Favorite Books	I am an avid reader of all genres and I cannot possibly narrow this down
