About Me

"I’ve been painting for as long as I can remember. It is a part of who I am. Painting is my connection to the physical as well as the spiritual worlds... those mysterious places of the unknown dimensions. Painting nature is particularly exciting for me since it brings me closer to the miracles that dwell around us all the time, however we may sometimes forget. “Charlottesville in Season” evolved over the last year of my meanderings around the city. While I often dream and yearn for the beautiful green valleys, the mountains and villages of Ireland, my homeland, I realize that there is a lot of beauty to see right here in this special place, and similarities abound right under our very noses."
