About Me

I've taught in the Educational Technology department at San Diego State University and have performed as the Technology Coordinator for a large high school district in El Cajon. I grew up on the East Coast near Philadelphia in a lovely little town named Ridley Park, lived and worked in Washington, DC and received my M.Ed. at the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia. I received my BA in History Education at the University of Delaware- go Blue Hens!!- and had the special privilege of studying abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland (UK). I'm a devoted but masochistic Philly sports fan who has been waiting patiently since 1983 for one of the four major Philadelphia sports teams to deliver the city another world championship. :: UPDATE! Not anymore! My Phillies are the 2008 World Series Champions!!!! Hooray!!! :: I find delight in life's simple pleasures including hanging out with my wife, dining at one of our favorite Phở restaurants and catching a good flick at the movies.

You're going to the moon! What did you forget to pack?

my sand wedge which I carelessly left on the 15th hole at Maderas golf course...
