About Me

'Twas politics that first drew me to the blogosphere - in particular, the 2000 presidential elections. That's when I started EverVigilant.net. Since then, my writings have been featured on numerous other web sites, including AntiWar.com, Strike the Root, and Enter Stage Right. A native of New Orleans, I currently reside with my wife in suburban St. Paul, Minn. We are members of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis. We are expecting our first child - an adopted daughter from China - hopefully early next year. We are also in the process of adopting two children - a brother and sister - from Haiti.
