About Me

Blessed with a mother who was more of a tech-head than most of her contemporaries and who jumped ship from mainframes to PCs in the early 80's, I have been brought up from a young age around technology. I built my first PC in 1988, an 80286, having first started out on the Apple IIe. In 2000 I founded PCFX, and after a good run, left the company to work for BOXX Technologies. There I learned a whole new world of high performance workstation design. I then spearheaded the development of [H]ard|OCP's [H] Consumer program, evaluating the pre-built computer industry from a customer perspective. This experience, from both sides of the fence, has given me a unique perspective into a large aspect of the high performance computing industry. Everything from gaming PCs, to Media Centers, to Digital Audio Workstations and high definition post-production video editing systems - experience that I leveraged to inject vision into Velocity Micro. Now I run the North American operations of the world's baddest chassis manufacturer, Omaura!
