About Me
My career first began at 1,000 watt daytime, WLND-AM (now WKTX-AM) in Cortland, Ohio as morning news anchor, weekend DJ and host of the "Treasure Chest of Bargains Show." I moved to Cleveland shortly afterwards to attend CSU. That was almost 20 years ago and I've been working in the market since. My radio station travels have also taken me to WRRO (DJ), WDOK (DJ), WRMR (Ass't PD/MD/DJ), WWWE (Promo Coordinator), WNWV (DJ), WEOL (DJ), WOBL (DJ), WKNR (Indians Net Board Op) & Jones Radio Network's Smooth Jazz format. My "big break" into TV came at WKYC in June 1994 as a studio technician (audio, master, tape and satellite). In 1995, I was promoted to Director by former WKYC Production Manager Rich O'Dell. Today, I'm Senior Director (and Emmy nominated) for WKYC-TV responsible for shows including 6, 7 & 11 PM on Channel 3 - The Akron News News at 6:30 & 10 PM on TWC - & various directing for Sports Time Ohio including "Indians On Deck" & "Talkin' Tribe."
Sponges and tongues are frequently misspelled. Is it because both are thirsty?
Quite possibly.
