Before that he was a senior editor at Legal Affairs magazine, a fellow at the New America Foundation, and an editor at the Washington Monthly. He has written about technology for the New York Times, Washington Post, Slate, Newsweek, L.A. Times and many other publications. He has also appeared as a technology commentator on CNN, FOX, CNBC, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, NPR, and many other TV and radio stations. Among other topics, he has extensively covered open-source software and technology use in West Africa. Before entering journalism, he worked at Penguin Computing a Linux Hardware startup. |
