About Me
I am a native Coloradoan, but have spent most of my adult life teaching, studying, and ministering in the Caribbean countries of the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and, presently, the Bahamas, where I teach theology at Atlantic College and Theological Seminary. While teaching in the Dominican Republic, I met and married my wife Estela, a first-generation Dominican of Haitian descent. So I often tell people that I am Haitian by marriage. At home we speak mostly English and Spanish, but occasionally mix a bit of Haitian Creole in for good measure. We are members of Emmaus Baptist Church, which is the oldest Haitian congregation in Nassau.
