| Introduction | My eighth and newest book is a collection of poems titled THE THRONE OF PSYCHE, a collection of poetry gorgeously produced by Mercer University Press. My most recent novel is VAL/ORSON (P. S. Publishing, 2009.) Forthcoming are a number of books, including a book-length poem, THALIAD (Montreal: Phoenicia Publishing, January 2012) and A DEATH AT THE WHITE CAMELLIA ORPHANAGE, winner of The Ferrol Sams Award for Fiction (Mercer, March 2012.) A misplaced Southerner, I live hard by the source of the Susquehanna with my husband and our three children. I get a lot of work done during the upstate shivering time. Currently I am working on a manuscript of poems called THE BOOK OF THE RED KING. |
